For over 40 years, Abilene artists have gathered at the Center for Contemporary Arts for weekly figure drawing sessions, affectionately known as "Dirty Drawers" due to the charcoal and pastels that mark their hands. These sessions, now led by Sergio Hernandez, continue a tradition of life drawing and figure study, featuring a variety of models.
Having just finished their summer session, regulars to the public figure-drawing class showcase their work in Gallery 3.
A reception will be held 9/12, 5-8PM, during the September ArtWalk.
