Bogard is a mixed media artist since 2006 with studios in Abilene and Santa Fe, NM. She was born in Arkansas, educated at S.M.U. and UTHSC and retired from corporate business in 2006, when she embraced her passion for art with studies at S.M.U., Eastfield College, and with several fine art professionals in the USA and abroad.

She began working in assemblage, progressed to collage and finally to painting. Today, she specializes in creating highly personal assemblages and cold wax images. She has participated in group and solo shows in Texas, New Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, and the Netherlands. Select works can be found in the Amarillo Museum of Art, Amarillo, TX, the Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction in Santa Fe, NM and the Puke Ariki Museum, New Plymouth, New Zealand.

She is a member of the New Mexico Art League, the Abilene Creative Arts Club, the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene, TX and the International Collage Association. Her collage and assemblage work can be seen at the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction in Santa Fe, NM.
