ANTHONY HUFF
Anthony Huff spent most of his early years growing up in the regions of North and West Texas, where he was raised on ranches with large horse training operations. In 1980, he tied the knot with Mary K. Kiel, another beloved artist member of the CCA. Shortly after, in 1981, he successfully obtained his BFA from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. Following his graduation, Anthony and Mary K. relocated to New York City, where they resided for three years before making their way to Fort Worth in 1984, where they welcomed the birth of their son Casey.
In 1999, the two decided to move to Potosi, TX, and established Lazy Heart, Inc., a fine arts service company. Anthony has been creating art for more than four decades.
“I’ll comment on life, family, politics, religion and current affairs. Really anything that seems to be going on in the world that I need to work out. I work in series or suites, until that vein plays out, then on to something else; life evolves.”
